You have perhaps heard of Jim Morrison,
the rock star? He is buried in Paris' Pierre
Lachaisse cemetery, my next stop. 

It is a beautiful place, with ornate graves and
lots of trees. 

Jim's grave is quite plain,
but it is always bedecked with flowers, 
love notes, and fruits from fans.

I took this second picture because the one my
daughters took when we were here last got lost.
So this is for Sara and Rachel. 
 
My personal favorite in this cemetery is the grave
of Eloise and Abelard, kept apart in life 
but united in death:
