DESERT WILDFLOWERS NEAR LAS VEGAS, SPRING 2001

FLOWERS IN DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK, CALIFORNIA
Part 5 of 5

This goes to show you how fast the desert flower display can change . . .  I heard about a great flower show in Death Valley on a Monday morning at work (thanks, Steve!).  But we couldn't get there until the next Sunday.  What did we find?  Just a few sand-loving flowers left in just a few locations.

A long ride for a few flowers, same ones as seen elsewhere in the region,  but we love visiting Death Valley as you might be able to guess from the Amargosa River story also on this site.  So, it really was yet another day well spent.

But of course there were other days, other locations, and other flowers, as you have already seen if you have already visited the other pages in this series.
