Part 2: Coming down through the woods
As I just announced, this trail was my ultimate delight this day: I'll just walk you down with me without words, needless to say it was steep and beautiful:
Alas, all too soon I was walking out of the trees:
And next there was a dirt road that became the path down, but they views into the valley below, and into the trees beside the trail, were very nice:
As I approached town, it began to rain:
This last view of the town from the trail told me where I was going next: to see that red roofed tower in the trees on the right of that hill, clear on the other side of town:
The above photo pretty shows what we will see on the next page: we will walk the main street past the large resort-hotels to the little red tower.
