PART 2c: A Walk to the First of Three "Emerald Pools"
Since I wanted to go up gradually and come down more steeply, I saved the lower pool for last. Coming down from the third (highest) pool, we have to come past the second pool again (middle), and then start down this nice but steep path:
Finally, here is pool # 1 below the cliff that separates it from pool # 2:
The railing is the guardrail on the walkway below the cliff:
Pool # 2 feeds its water to pool # 1 below it in several places:
From here the trail goes through some nice scenery:
Makes a right turn before hitting the Virgin River:
Follows the river for a bit:
Soon enough: there is that bridge again!
