Viewpoint C: Bright Angel Point

Bright Angel Point is the main North Rim overlook. You get there from the main lodge and visitors center on a paved trail with wonderful views along the way:


I can never pass up a good tree, so here are several along this trail:


You can tell that behind these trees there are some pretty decent views, so let's take a look at some. There are signs like this one explaining what you are looking at:

Enough teasing, without further chatter (because I really have nothing to say), here are some representative views into the canyon(s) that together make up the Grand Canyon. To the extent memory allows, I will move along the trail until we see what was on that poster we just saw:








Returning to the lodge I was surprised to find there was yet another viewpoint available, but by this time I was tired and ready to hit the road for our next destination:
