A look at the Hercules Tower in La Coruņa/A Coruņa, Spain
Once the Romans built a lighthouse on this spot. It has been rebuilt several times siece then, but it is still on a Roman foundation, we were told. What we will do is simply walk to and around the structure, and be on our way again.
That is our tour group, by the way:

And what is there to see from the Hercules tower? A great horn and the beginnings of a sunset:

There is one more stop for the day, a hilltop with a splendid view, and that is where we saw more of a sunset (next page).
On our way to that next stop, our bus drove us past the main beach of A Coruņa (sorry about the blur, bus was moving):

An evening ride to see lighthouses, a beach and a castle at Santa Cruz, Spain.
A visit to mile zero on the Camino: Cabo Finisterre, end of known world
