March: South of France

A Short Trip with Multiple Destinations:

Destination 4:  The Gorges of the Tarn Sub-destination J: Point Sublime

Point Sublime lives up to its name.  Take a look at these views, the first two looking west through the Tarn gorge that meets Mallou:

The next views look east to where all the previous Tarn Gorges destination lie:

Looking more directly below this point: first eastward:

Looking down a bit more, but still eastward:

If you really want to get the feel of this place, do what these rappellers are about to do: go over the side on a rope!

At the top of the above photo, it shows more meadows and forests (and an occasional radio/microwave tower for cell phones, which work everywhere in France)!

Well, much as I don't really want to leave here, I have to.  So my next stop is the Montpellier airport.

It is always hard to leave.  It is always good to get home again.  There is a riddle.  I don't want it solved.
