May They Rest in Peace

Part 2: Spreading the Ashes of Adriana and Jacobus (Jack Sr.) Van Luik, our Parents

It was in the Spring of 2005 that my mother, Adriana, said: "let's go spread Pa's ashes in the Colorado River."  OK, where?  We picked a nice spot, as you have seen on the previous page.

So, very near that same tree in the previous page, our father's ashes were spread, and, as the next few photos show, they spread toward that same tree!

Not many months later the same year, as if she had a premonition in the Spring, mother died.  By the time we went to spread her ashes, the river level had gone down considerably, and the closest water was now under that same tree:

May they rest in peace, all three!
