The Roman city was quite large:

 

The setting of the Roman city is enhanced by a park that has been created between the Greek and the Roman cities (the next two photos are looking over the Greek town):

The next photo looks from the Roman town towards the park:

The view to the Mediterranean from the Roman city, especially through some trees north of the Greek town, is quite nice:

The view of the Mediterranean to the south isn't too shabby either, but lacks the greenery to give a picture of that view some character:

The question of how far this city complex lies from the Pyrenees is partly answered by this photo: not far in a car, quite a ways by horse and chariot:

We knew it was time to head west when we saw a squall line developing almost right over the Roman city:

And were even more sure when we saw little thunderstorms popping up like this one:
