to Abe's former Geocities Home Page and Site!

Scroll down for links to interesting thoughts and places. Well, interesting to me anyway.

The first few links are to picture pages. After that are my book reviews, including a response from author James Cowan, author of "A Troubadour's Testament."

My "Forever Friend" Mary Jane is also eulogized below.

This site was moved to http://thoughtsandplaces.org in December of 2001 as part of a consolidation of four separate websites, on four URLs, using 4 different Homepage creation tools, a bit much for a person to try to keep up with. This URL is my own domain name, nice isn't it?

Mother and Child in a Square in Brugge, Belgium (see link below)

Places!

NEW IN MARCH 2001 !!!

VISIT Domremy-la-Pucelle, home of Joan of Arc!!

APRIL 2001!  Just visited the town of Brugge, or Bruges, in Belgium, the country's most beautiful city, the Venice of the north.  Of especial interest to me is it beautiful Begijnhof or Beguinage.

See for yourself why this place has now drawn me to it twice, each time just to sit among the daffodils and feel its deep peace, it is still a refuge for souls needing to feel safe and calm.

Visit Manti, Utah with us in July of 2000!  Manti is a small town in central Utah.  Its Mormon Temple is its highlight.

Sights within a few hours of Las Vegas, Nevada (home)!
These title-lines are the links!

Mary Jane Falls in the Spring Range

The Cave at Mary Jane Falls (on other site)

Visiting With the Ancient Bristlecones

Titus Canyon, Death Valley, Nevada/California

West of Zion

Thoughts!

My One and Only "Forever-Friend!" : Having just learned of the untimely death of the person with whom I have had my longest friendship outside my family, I felt compelled to write a eulogy of sorts and post it here.

Mary Jane, you are still, and always will be, my Forever-Friend!

NOVEMBER 2001: Letter from author James Cowan about the book review below.

October 2001: Review of A Troubadour's Testament by James Cowan.  Insights into Cathars, Troubadours, Catholics,  and even Islamic influences in the south of France.

MAY of 2001: THE AFTERLIFE! A review of many books with a sizable touch of disbelief on the part of the reviewer.

Book Review:  Awakening Intuition by Mona Lisa Schulz,  added late Dec. 2000

This link takes you to my review of  two books by Gary Zukav, "The Seat of the Soul" and "Soul Stories."

Click on the link at right for my review of "The Dancing Wu Li Masters, An Overview of the New Physics" by Gary Zukav (Bantam New Age Books, 1980).  This is a CRITICAL review.  I did not believe what I read in this book. I do hope you'll read this book and judge it for yourself.
