We made a substantial detour on our way from Las Vegas (home) to Utah Valley (son's home) in August 2001, and spent a day in this very beautiful place.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, Audrey and I picked apples, we were impressed with the vegetation, and appreciated the plentiful deer and lizards.

On my little hike I was shaded by a summer thunderstorm. I was wary of its lightning, but it never came too close. The geological formations were fascinating.
