I found it a great short hike. The ending is unexpectedly far from Golden Throne's actual base, but the panoramas are wonderful, as advertised.

According to the guide, the hike to Golden Throne's base
is 2 miles each way, and "Strenuous; climbs from bottom
of gorge to top of cliffs and ends with a
view of the base of
