| Another pleasant scene of light and shade and very healthy vegetation. In the shade it was in the mid-80's (Fahrenheit of course). In the sun? I tried toavoid the sun, it was in the mid to high nineties, even at the very top! Needless to say I was a sweaty mess when I returned and was encouraged to shower without delay. | |||||||||

This rock marks the turnoff to Squaw Peak. The elevation gain to this point was a thousand feet, or 1,100, but who is counting? |
