| To my (pleasant) surprise, the long haul to the top was mostly in a tree-tunnel like in this picture. That made this very steep trail tolerable on this warm day. But it also made it useless to take a lot of photos since they would all look the same. | ||||||||

A full thousand feet of elevation gain since the turnoff,
I thought I had almost reached the peak when I came
