Part 1, Flowers and Trees!

Until I did these pictures and tried to write this page I honestly didn't know how to spell nasturtiums, but these pictures are full of them until the end of the page where some hollyhocks and some bright yellow flowers that I have not yet been able to name were very showy too.

The nasturtiums were spectacular, sitting at the cypress and pine tree forest boundaries where sunlight did not bathe them all day long, but just enough.



There is very little to say, these flowers speak for themselves, they appear to really enjoy life, and their colorful exuberance helps us do the same:


A hollyhock sat in the above nasturtium patch, and here is another one that is doing very well:

There is a roped off zone (I missed the sign, it was not on the path I took) where sand-dune slope- stabilization is in progress. This plant family was spectaculary bright:

Turning the other way at the location of these yellow flowers shows us our next destination: getting a better look at those rocks in the Pacific ocean:
