The Carmelite Convent/Museum
Adjoining the basilica is an old convent where the Carmelite order moved, in 1783.from Flanders, sponsored by Madame Louise de France. The building now serves as a museum of St. Denis, and has a room devoted to the the time of civil-war horror when the Paris Commune overthrew the Napoleonic government.
